Police probe 'deliberate' fire in Hawick

Police are appealing for information following a fire in Hawick at the weekend, which is being treated as deliberate.
The incident took place in the town's Wellfield Road around 9.20pm on Saturday.
The street is home to a mixture of homes and garages, as well as Wilton Primary School.
But it's unclear what was set alight and what damage has been caused.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.
"We’d also ask anyone with private CCTV that could assist our enquiries to come forward."

There were no reports of any injuries.
