Man dies following fatal incident in Wymondham
The death has been referred to the independent police watchdog
A man has died following an incident involving emergency services in Wymondham on Friday afternoon (March 28th).
Officers from Norfolk Police were called to an address at Granary Close by the East of England Ambulance Service at around 4pm.
When officers arrived, they found that a man in his 40s had been "acting aggressively" towards paramedics.
Police stepped in to help paramedics in helping get the man into the ambulance to be taken to hospital.
The man was then transported to the hospital but died whilst on his way to be treated by medical professionals.
Norfolk Police have confirmed the man's next of kin has been informed of his death.
The force added that the incident has since been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct for further investigation.
