Police were called to reports of shots fired at a residential address on Cronin Street, Peckham just before 11pm on 24th December, 2025.
Officers found one victim, a woman in her 20s, with multiple gunshot injuries.

The woman’s one-year-old son was at home with her during the incident. The child was unharmed.
Multiple shots fired
From initial inquiries, police believe that between 1030-11pm two suspects, both men, approached the front door of the property. Moments later the victim was shot, with bullets being fired through the front door. In total, seven shots are believed to have been fired into the address.
Following the shooting, the two suspects fled the scene headed on foot in the direction of Commercial Way. Both were dressed in dark clothing: one was wearing a grey hooded top and is believed to have been carrying the firearm; the second was wearing a dark‑coloured hooded top.
