Three people injured after collision involving fire engine in Worcester

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving

Three pedestrians have been injured after a collision involving a fire engine and a car in Worcester city centre.

It happened yesterday (25 April) at around 6pm on Sidbury. The fire engine also collided with a building, after the car.

West Mercia Police said two pedestrians suffered serious injuries, and a third suffered minor injuries.

A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving.

He remains in police custody as enquiries continue.
