Tesla driver caught 'playing guitar' at 60mph on the M25 near Reigate
Surrey Police found the car's driver-attention camera had been covered and a weighted device fitted to the steering wheel
A Tesla driver has been reported for a driving offence after allegedly playing a guitar while driving along the M25.
Surrey Police said they received a 999 call reporting the driver was playing the instrument while travelling at 60mph in the Reigate area.
When officers stopped the car, they found the driver had covered the interior camera that monitors driver attention.
They also discovered a weighted device had been fitted to the steering wheel to trick the car into thinking the driver was holding it.
The driver is set to face court for driving without due care and attention.
Surrey Police said his licensing authority has also been informed, as he is a private hire vehicle driver.
