A man's been arrested by Counter Terror Police in Slough - on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts.

He was first arrested on Friday, following reports of an attempted arson attack at Salt Hill Activity Centre in the town.

The 20 year old was then re-arrested by anti-terror officers on Sunday.

He remains in police custody.

Detective Superintendent Andy Penrith, of the Berkshire East Local Command Unit, said, "We understand that incidents of this nature can cause the public concern. Thames Valley Police are working closely with our communities and partners in Slough as well as regional police teams."
