Teddy bears and flowers have been left at the scene of a seven-year-old's death in Southend's Chalkwell Park.
The girl died in hospital after being trapped beneath a collapsed tree on Saturday afternoon.
Another girl, who's six, is in a "very serious" condition in hospital.
Police are investigating what happened and an area has been set up for the laying of flowers and tributes.
A gathering is taking place this morning (Monday 30 June) where council leader Daniel Cowan will be laying flowers on behalf of Southend council.
Westcliffe-on-Sea Cricket club have released a statement, after some members rushed to help on Saturday.
Assistant Chief Constable Lucy Morris of Essex Police said: "Updates will be provided on the condition of the little girl who remains in hospital.
"I know many will be thinking of her today and she is in the right place, receiving urgent and around-the-clock care surrounded by her family.
"Sadly, her condition is still very serious at this time."
