Liverpool players have returned to training for the first time since the shock death of team-mate Diogo Jota.

The 28-year-old was killed in a car crash alongside his brother Andre Silva in Spain last Thursday (03 July).

A number of current and former players attended his funeral in Portugal on Saturday (05 July), with Liverpool's preseason training schedule delayed.

Stars including Mo Salah, Andy Robertson and Connor Bradley have all been pictured arriving at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby.

It's understood the club will make a decision on whether to play Sunday's planned pre-season friendly against Preston North End after speaking to players and staff.
