Gemma Collins has been voted the ideal companion for a night out according to a new survey into how young people are socialising on nights out.

The recent survey uncovered the evolving dynamics of social nights out, drawing attention to the changing preferences among different generations.

Essex's Gemma Collins, famously known as “The GC,” emerged as the top choice as the ideal night-out companion among Gen Z party-goers.

Young people are enjoying the pre-party prep

The survey, targeting the 18–34-year-old demographic, reveals that three quarters of them consider the night to kick off even before arriving at the venue.

The pre-party rituals, including outfit planning and styling during train rides, are central to Gen Z's nightlife experience.

The survey showed one in five young adults plan their outfit up to a month in advance, and 70% use their train journey to perfect their look.

When asked who they’d most like to hit the town with, more than a quarter (27%) of Gen Z respondents to the survey crowned Gemma Collins their ultimate party partner, followed by Katie Price (25%), and Alison Hammond (22%).

Gemma "The GC" Collins remarked: “Listen, the best part of the night is the build-up. It’s the getting glam, the playlist, the group chat chaos, and those deep, hilarious, ‘why did we even start talking about this?’ moments on the journey to the venue.
