Two teens charged over Portobello attempted murder

Two boys , 16 and 17, have now been charged over an attempted murder in Portobello on Friday evening.

An 18-year-old man was found seriously injured after an alleged stabbing on Bath Street, near the sea front, at around 6.40pm.

He was then taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The two suspects are both due in court on Tuesday.

Detective Inspector Dougal Begg said: “We would like to thank the public for assisting with our enquiries following our earlier appeal into this incident.”
