Three teenagers in hospital after early morning Edinburgh crash

One of the passengers is in a critical condition

Three teenagers have been taken to hospital after a serious crash in Edinburgh in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It happened around 4.20am on 15 March on the A71 near its junction with Addiston Farm Road.

The 18 year old man driving the blue Renault Wind and his two 18 year old male passengers were all taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where one passenger is in critical condition, while the other two are being described as serious.

Police appeal

Sergeant Grant Hastie said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this serious crash.

"We are urging any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

“If you were in the area around the time and saw anything that may be relevant, please contact us.

"In addition, anyone with dash-cam footage is asked to get in touch."
