Police release CCTV images in Edinburgh assault and attempted robbery investigation

Police Scotland has released CCTV images of a man they believe could help with an investigation into a serious assault and attempted robbery in Edinburgh.
The incident took place around 10.35am on Sunday 13 April at Murrayburn Place.
Officers are keen to speak to a man described as South Asian, aged between 25 and 30, around 5ft 7in to 5ft 9in tall, with black hair and a black beard. At the time, he was wearing a black Puffa-style jacket, cream trousers and black footwear.
Detective Constable Beverley Burnside said: “We would appeal to the man in the images, or anyone who recognises him, to contact us as soon as possible.”
