Police make arrest over suspicious Armadale death
A 57-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the suspicious death of a man in Armadale.
Emergency services were called to a property on Harestanes Road at around 11.50am on Saturday, 12 September, following reports of an injured man.
The 35-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and his family is being supported by specialist officers.
Police Scotland says a post-mortem examination is due to take place and the death is currently being treated as suspicious.
A 57-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the death, with enquiries continuing.
Detectives have been carrying out door-to-door enquiries, reviewing CCTV and conducting forensic analysis as part of the investigation.
Detective Superintendent Michelle Findlay, of the Major Investigations Team, said: “My thoughts remain with the family and friends of the man who died.
“Specialist officers are supporting them as we continue to try to get answers about what happened.”
Police previously said they believe the incident was a targeted attack and have increased patrols in the area.
