Police appeal after Kinghorn hit-and-run
Police are appealing for information after a man was struck in a hit-and-run in Fife.
The incident happened on the B923 near Kirkcaldy Road in Kinghorn at about 10am on Thursday.
A blue Audi Q2 hit the man before driving off.
The pedestrian had earlier stepped out of his own black Audi A3 to speak to the other driver. He did not require hospital treatment.
Constable Craig Stirling, from Fife Road Policing, said officers were keen to trace anyone who witnessed the incident or saw either car at the time.
He added: “The driver of a burgundy Ford van was in the area and may have information. Anyone with dashcam footage should check to see if they have captured anything.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0961 of 25 September.
