Pedestrian dies a week after Alloa crash

The 41 year old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Scotland

A man has died a week after being hit by a car in Alloa.

Police were called to the collision between a white Dacia Sandero, a blue Ford Focus, and a pedestrian on the A907 Stirling Road, at around 8.30pm on Saturday 21 February.

The 41 year old pedestrian was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, where he died on Saturday 28 February.

The drivers of both cars were uninjured.

Police appeal

Sergeant Paul Ewing said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died.

“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.

“I would also appeal for anyone who was in the area and has dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist our investigation to get in touch.”
