Man suffers broken leg in Falkirk station attack as police appeal for witnesses
Detectives are appealing for information after a man was left with a broken leg following an assault outside Falkirk High railway station.
The incident happened at around 9.15pm on Saturday when the man was waiting for a taxi outside the front of the station.
Two men approached before a violent altercation broke out. Members of the public stepped in to separate those involved and assist the injured man, who was left with a broken leg and ankle.
The two suspects left the scene before officers arrived.
Detective Constable Liam Deasley said police believe a number of taxi drivers and members of the public may have witnessed the incident or captured it on dashcam footage.
He urged anyone who saw what happened, intervened, or has any relevant footage to come forward.
