A man who died in a hit-and-run in West Lothian has been named.
48-year-old Raffaele Bramante was struck by a grey Renault Clio on Main Street in Linlithgow just after midnight last Sunday
He was pronounced dead at the scene
Officers arrested a 27-year-old man in connection
Police constable Jake Threadgold extended his condolences. He said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has died.
“Inquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing for anyone who saw what happened and is yet to contact police to get in touch.
“If you were driving in the area around the time of the crash please check any dash-cam footage you have and make contact with us if something has been captured that could assist with our investigation.”
