Man charged after large-scale cannabis farm discovered in Dunfermline

A 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a cannabis cultivation uncovered in Dunfermline.

Officers executed a search warrant at a property on Pentland Terrace around 9.50am on Wednesday, 21 May, 2025. Inside, they discovered a large-scale cannabis operation, with plants estimated to have a street value of £193,000.

The man is expected to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Thursday.

Detective Constable Kelly McCormack said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and this recovery highlights our commitment to tackling those involved in the production and distribution of illegal substances.

“The public plays a vital role in helping us, and I would urge anyone with information or concerns to contact police or Crimestoppers anonymously.”
