Passenger 'seriously' injured in A1 crash near Innerwick
Four people have been taken to hospital following a crash on the A1 in East Lothian over the weekend.
The collision between a Nissan Qashqai and a Volkswagen Transporter happened at the Innerwick junction.
Emergency services attended after the alarm was raised around 8.15pm on Saturday night.
The male driver of the Volkswagen and three female passengers were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Hospital staff describe the condition of one of the passengers as “serious”. The others were discharged after being checked over.
The driver of the Quashqai did not require medical treatment.

The crash, on the northbound carriageway, led to reports of increased HGV traffic in Duns, as vehicles were diverted.
Sergeant Jamie Humpage, from Police Scotland, said: "I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash and has not yet spoken to police, to please contact us.
"We are also keen to obtain any dash-cam footage from motorists who may have been driving on the road at the time of the crash."
