Hearts sign Falkirk winger Calvin Miller
Calvin Miller has signed a three-year deal with Hearts after Falkirk accepted an undisclosed bid for the winger.
The 28-year-old has been a key part of the Bairns’ rise from William Hill League 1 to a top-six finish in the Premiership.
The former Celtic, Harrogate, Chesterfield and Morton player scored 32 goals and provided 37 assists in 132 games for Falkirk, including 20 goal contributions in the top flight last season.
A Falkirk statement read: “The club were approached by Heart of Midlothian and, following negotiations, an agreement was reached for a fee that suited all parties.
“Throughout those discussions it became clear that the move represented a significant opportunity for Calvin, and the club accepted his desire to take the next step in his career.
“Calvin departs The Falkirk Stadium as a modern Falkirk great, having played a major role in one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.”
Miller said on Hearts TV: “When I heard the interest was there, I was dying to make the move happen and they’re playing in Europe this year as well, so I’d love to get myself in amongst that.”
