Police in Forth Valley are continuing urgent efforts to trace 19-year-old Cole Cooper, who has now been missing for nearly two weeks.

Cole was last seen around 7.30pm on Wednesday, 7 May, on the A803 at the junction with Cumbernauld Road in Longcroft. Earlier CCTV footage also shows him in the Longcroft area at around 6am on Sunday, 4 May.

A major missing person investigation is underway, with police carrying out door-to-door enquiries, reviewing CCTV, and speaking to witnesses. Specialist resources including a police helicopter and drones have also searched the Banknock area over recent days.

In an emotional plea, Cole’s mum Wendy said: “My heart is totally broken. All I want is the safe return of my gorgeous, fun-loving boy. Please, if you have any information, report it to police. Cole, if you see this - just let us know you’re safe. We all love and miss you so much.”

Inspector Neil Wotherspoon said it is “out of character” for Cole not to be in touch with family or friends, and urged anyone with information to come forward.

Cole is described as around 5ft 10in tall, of medium build with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket and black jogging bottoms. He is known to have links to Denny, Cumbernauld and Paisley.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 828 of 9 May 2025.
