Break-in at Linlithgow garage sees two cars stolen

Police in West Lothian are appealing for information after a break-in at a garage in the early hours of Friday.

The incident happened around 2.15am at a premises on Avonmill Road in Linlithgow.

A silver BMW X Drive M Sport and a blue Skoda Octavia were stolen, along with tools and a three-figure sum of cash.

Three men were seen in the area at the time. One was wearing dark clothing with his hood up, while another was described as wearing a light-coloured top.

Detective Constable Graeme Rogers said enquiries are ongoing and officers are urging anyone with information to come forward. He also asked anyone with dash-cam footage or private CCTV that could assist with the investigation to get in touch.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0224 of Friday, 20 February, 2026.
