Body found in search for missing Falkirk teen Cole Cooper

Police have confirmed that a body has been discovered in the search for missing teenager Cole Cooper.

The 19-year-old from Falkirk was last seen on 7 May in the village of Longcroft, sparking a major investigation involving extensive CCTV reviews and door-to-door enquiries.

The body was found around 4.15pm on Friday in a wooded area near Kilsyth Road in Banknock.

While formal identification has not yet taken place, Cole’s family has been informed of the discovery.

Police say enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
