Alloa crash victim named by police

81 year old John McClumpha died in hospital after the three vehicle collision

An 81 year old man who died after a crash in Alloa has been named as John McClumpha.

The incident happened on Clackmannan Road at around 10.35am on Thursday 6 November, and involved a grey Audi Q5, a grey Peugeot van, and a blue Audi Q3.

Mr McClumpha was taken to Forth Valley Hospital where he later died.

The road was closed for around 4 hours while investigations were carried out.

Police appeal

Sergeant Vincent Lynch said: “Our thoughts are with John’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time.

“We would ask anyone who has yet to speak to officers get in touch and review any dash-cam footage for anything that may assist with our enquiries.”
