Man, 63, seriously injured in Clackmannanshire stabbing

A 63-year-old man has been seriously injured in what police believe was a targeted stabbing in Sauchie.
The attack happened around 7.05pm on Tuesday on a footpath in Holton Crescent. The victim was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
Detectives say they are following a positive line of enquiry and have reassured the community that all available resources are being used to trace the person responsible. There will be an increased police presence in the area.
Officers are hunting a white man aged between 35 and 45, around 6ft tall, of medium build, with a red or auburn beard. He was wearing a dark blue hooded jumper, dark trousers and white trainers. It’s believed he fled in a dark SUV-style vehicle with a lighter coloured roof box.
Detective Constable Jenna Alexander urged anyone who recognises the description or saw the suspect before or after the attack to come forward. She also asked residents to check any private CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage that could assist the investigation.
