After meeting and falling in love on the second rebooted series of Big Brother last September, housemates Elsa Rae and Marcus John have now announced some adorable news!
Elsa, 21, and Marcus, 22, have taken to social media to announce they are expecting their first baby together, revealing their little one will arrive in October 2026.
Posting a photo of a baby scan alongside a baby grow with the words "and then there were three" printed on, the couple wrote: 'we’ve been keeping a little secret…our bubba due October 2026! we are so very excited 🤍🍼xx'. (sic)
Famous faces from across the world of TV and entertainment were quick to comment, with many sending their well wishes.
BB contestant Jenny Baird wrote: 'Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️❤️', with Zelah Glasson adding: 'Congratulations guys🥹💙'. Lily Benson then commented: 'Congratulations 🥹❤️'.
2025 contestant Feyisola Akintoye commented: 'Going to be the luckiest child!!!! 🧡🧡🧡', with farmer Cameron Kinch adding: 'Congratulations you two!!!!'. (sic)
A fan then wrote: 'And people said it was for the camera 🤨 will make great parents ❤️', with another commenting: 'I have been following you on TikTok for so long and I can’t even begin to describe how much happiness I feel for a stranger right now. You so deserve this 💕'. (sic)
Podcaster Joe Baggs added: 'Congrats guys omg !!!!!!', with Love Island star Georgia Harrison commenting: 'No wayyy! Congratulations xxxx'. (sic)
Elsa and Marcus first met when they both appeared on the 2025 series of ITV's rebooted version of reality show Big Brother.
Entering the house on Day One, the pair found comfort in each other throughout their time on the show, growing closer each week and later confessing their love for one another during the final week.
Despite many of their fellow housemates and viewers at home dubbing their relationship a 'showmance', the couple have continued to date back in the real world, with Marcus asking Elsa to be his official girlfriend in November last year.
Whilst staying in a hotel in Manchester, Marcus went all out with a grand gesture, filling the room with red heart balloons and red rose petals, alongside a letter balloon which spelt out 'Will you be my girlfriend."
