The promotion will run on Downtown Radio Breakfast with Gary & Glen from Monday 30th March 2026 to Friday 3rd April 2026

To enter, listeners must listen out for the cue to call and phone the studio when prompted.

Each day, one caller will be selected at random to play “Big Cheers for Five Years” on air.

The contestant will hear a clip of a well-known song, where a birthday cheer sound effect masks a word in the lyrics.

To win, the contestant must correctly identify the missing word.

If the answer is correct, the contestant will win the daily prize of £100.

If the answer is incorrect, another caller may be brought to air at the presenter’s discretion.

All five daily winners will be automatically entered into a grand prize draw to win £500, which will take place on Friday 3rd April 2026.

The overall winner will be contacted live on air or by phone. If the winner cannot be reached, another winner may be selected.
