20 years of Soccer Aid

For 20 years, the charity match has raised funds for children caught up in conflict, disease and disasters by helping to support the work of international charity UNICEF.

Over the past two decades, Soccer Aid for UNICEF has raised more than £121 million for UNICEF’s work with children and families around the world.

This year’s fundraising could help UNICEF create safe spaces in crises, deliver vital vaccinations and nutrition, support learning, and so much more to protect every child’s right to play.

On this special 20th anniversary of Soccer Aid for UNICEF, the multi‑platinum singer and TV presenter Olly Murs has completed an epic 400km Challenge to raise funds for UNICEF’s work around the world.

The match will be hosted by Dermot O'Leary and Alex Scott and broadcast on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player today from 5pm.
