Motorcyclist dies after two-vehicle crash in Co. Antrim

A man from the Ballyclare area has died following a two-vehicle collision

Jamie Fleming, aged 26, sadly died after a two-vehicle crash in Doagh, Co. Antrim yesterday afternoon.

The motorcyclist from the Ballyclare area collided with a blue Skoda Enyaq in the Ballymena Road area of Doagh - at the junction of Deer Park Road.

The Ballymena Road, which was closed for a time, has since reopened.

Detective Inspector Stewart said they received the report at around 1:40pm.

"Officers, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended, however, sadly the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene."

“Our enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have any information which could assist with our investigation, including dash-cam or other footage, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 827 of 17/07/26.”
