Craig David releases his new catchy song 'SOS' along with the music video

After teasing his first single of 2025, Craig David has now released 'SOS', along with the music video, just weeks before he starts his 'Commitment Tour 2025'. The singer shared a snippet of the music video earlier this week, ahead of its 17th January release.
The clip shows Craig leaving a pub with a woman, when they get into his car it struggles to start. Apologising to her, he offers to met the woman at a spot they talked about later. After revealing the release date, the video then plays a short clip of the song.
Responding to Craig's tease, Wes Nelson, who released 'Abracadabra' with him in 2024, wrote: 'Bro is this a recreation of the story you told me about Miami? 👀🫨 I’m gassed for this 😮💨', however the singer has not replied.
Thankfully we didn't have to wait too much longer for the full song to be release, and it has now arrived along with the music video. The video premiered on YouTube after much anticipation, and you can watch it below, or hear the song on Cool FM.
What does the artwork for 'SOS' look like?
Before the single's release, Craig shared the artwork for 'SOS' showing a photo of him taken from the side, with his hands clasped.
'SOS' is the follow-up to Craig's song 'In Your Hands', released in September 2024. It was the first solo music from the singer in two years, and was inspired by the childhood school song 'He's Got the Whole World in His Hands', with and added distinct country feel to it.
Speaking about his song Craig said: "'In Your Hands' is such an important song for me as I wanted to shine light on how truly special we all are. Especially when we allow our inner child to play, that part of us that holds the true meaning & joy to life."
In addition to releasing a new song, Craig is just a few weeks away from starting his UK tour, and tickets are still on sale from Aloud.com. You can see Craig at several locations across the UK, starting in Leeds on 2nd February, and ending in London on 20th February.

Following the release of his sun-soaked single 'Tastes Like Summer', James Blunt announced a tour across the UK next year, and tickets are now on sale. The singer will be starting in Leeds on Friday 26th March, with dates across England, Scotland and Wales, ending the following month, on Thursday 8th April, in Brighton.

Chase & Status have announced three UK dates starting at Manchester's Co-op Live on Friday 19th March 2027, continuing on to Birmingham's Utilita Arena, and finishing in London at The O2 Arena on Friday 2nd April 2027.
