Rangers sign Hull City goalkeeper Ivor Pandur as Jack Butland gets set to depart
Rangers have completed the signing of Hull City goalkeeper Ivor Pandur, with Jack Butland set to head in the opposite direction.
The 26-year old played every match last season as the Tigers sealed promotion to the Premier League through the play-offs.
Pandur's form also earned him a call-up for the World Cup where he has been on the bench for Croatia's three matches.
It is reported the Ibrox side will pay a fee of £6million for the stopper as Jack Butland heads in the opposite direction for £3million.
Butland joined Rangers on a free transfer from Crystal Palace in 2023 and went on to make over 150 appearances in three seasons.
Pandur told the club's official website: “I am honoured and privileged to sign for such a big club with so much history. This club knows how to win and that's exactly why I am joining Rangers.
“I can’t wait to hear the noise of Ibrox for the first time and I hope we will be successful together.”
Manager Derek McInnes added: “We are delighted to bring Ivor to Rangers. He is a goalkeeper with excellent presence and a strong character.
“He has shown his quality, he is at a good stage of his career, and we believe he can be a commanding figure for the club.
