Claudio Braga 'determined' despite Ibrox setback
Claudio Braga left Ibrox frustrated but doubly determined after leaders Hearts lost at second-placed Rangers on Sunday.
The visitors twice surrendered the lead in a 4-2 defeat to the Gers which reduced their lead at the top of the William Hill Premiership to just two points.
Third-placed Celtic are one point behind their Old Firm rivals, having played a game fewer than the top two, and Hearts forward Braga wants to get back on track against Falkirk on Saturday.
He said: "It's frustrating, of course. In the first half, I think we were better.
"We let them control the game and we went on the counter-attack. We were doing a good job on that. Then we lost two cheap goals.
"In the second half, we know that we could do better - also the goals against us. If we did things a little bit different, like one less pass, we would do better.
"It's frustrating but we're still in first place and there are still a lot of games to go. We have a home game now, so we just need to go for that."
Braga denied the pressure is on Hearts - who were 13 points ahead of Rangers when boss Danny Rohl took over from Russell Martin last October - citing the fact that no team outside the Old Firm have won the top flight in Scotland since Sir Alex Ferguson's Aberdeen in 1985.
He said: "No, I don't feel we have that pressure just because it's 40 years now, right? So we're doing something amazing.
"We're proud of the work we're doing. Of course, the more (points) we can get, the better. But the pressure, I think, is normally on the teams that win the league.
"So we have, of course, a good pressure. We just need to enjoy it as much as we can, trying to go to games with a good mentality and win games."
Braga believes the close-knit nature of the Gorgie dressing room will help Hearts get over the defeat.
He said: "We're still in first place, there are still a lot of games to go. We're still in a good position.
"It's just frustrating, of course, when you go against a direct rival when it comes to three points and know that we could do better.
"To score two goals at Ibrox is not always easy and we still lost the game. So that's the frustration. But we know that we can just use that for a good thing, that is to win our next game.
"We're a very united team in the locker room, we're actually a family, and we're just going to use that to get better in the next game."
