Woman assaulted in Robroyston Park

Police are investigating after a woman was attacked in a Glasgow park.

Emergency services were called to Robroyston Park near to Bishopmill Road at around 8.50am yesterday - after reports of a man assaulting a woman.

Officers attended and the woman did not require medical treatment.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged 18 to 21 years old, approximately ft 6in tall, with short red/brown hair.

He was wearing a navy-blue jacket and light blue trousers.

Constable Stephanie Frame said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace the man involved and establish the full circumstances.

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn’t already spoken to police to contact us.

“I would also ask anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have information, dash cam or private CCTV footage that could assist to get in touch.”
