West Lothian police arrest fourth person over killing of ‘deeply loved son and dad’

The family of a man who was shot dead have remembered him as “deeply loved” as a fourth person was arrested in connection with the death.
William “Billy” Watson, of Armadale, West Lothian, was found wounded and subsequently died at the scene in the town’s Harestanes Road on September 12.
In a statement released via Police Scotland, the family of the 35-year-old said: “Billy was a deeply loved son, dad, brother, uncle and friend.
“We are all desperate to find out any information about this horrific incident.”
It comes as a fourth man, aged 20, was arrested in connection with the death, and inquiries are ongoing.
Corrie McQueen, 29, and Martin Paterson, 44, previously appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday, charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Both men made no plea, were remanded in custody, and are due to appear back in court within the next week.
It comes after another man, aged 57, was charged in connection with the death.
Frank McCarthy also made no plea when he appeared at the same court on Friday.
