Three young children in hospital after trailer hits pram in Dumfries
An eight month old baby and two toddlers are in the Royal Children's Hospital in Glasgow.
Three children, including an eight month old baby, are in hospital in Glasgow after a collision involving a pram in Dumfries yesterday.
A trailer became detached from a Mitsubishi Outlander and struck the buggy on the pavement on Pleasance Avenue around 3.15pm.
The baby was taken to the Royal Children's Hospital, as well as two toddlers aged 14 and 18 months.
Their injuries are being looked over - and the 18-year-old woman who was pushing the pram has been discharged.
Sergeant David Kerr, of Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit, said: "Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and we would urge anyone who have witnessed it to come forward.
"We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area.
"Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 1870 of 13 October."
