Teenager charged in connection with fatal Lanarkshire crash

An 18 year old woman has been charged in connection with a fatal road crash in Lanarkshire last year.
The incident happened on the A725 at the Shawhead flyover at its junction with the A8 Eastbound slip road, on Thursday July 18.
It involved an HGV, a Ford Transit flatbed, and a Mini Cooper.
50 year old Viorel Ciucu who was driving the flatbed was pronounced dead at the scene, while the occupants of the other vehicles were checked at the scene.
The 18 year old driver of the HGV has been charged in connection and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
