Teenager arrested after pensioner killed in Paisley Hogmanay hit and run

An 18 year old man has been arrested after a pensioner died following a hit and run in Paisley on Hogmanay.

70 year old Elizabeth Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene after the incident at around 7pm on Barrhead Road.

The teen has been arrested pending further enquiries.
