Police discover 'possible' human remains near Loch Lomond

Police are investigating after "possible human remains" were found at Loch Lomond.

Officers were called to the scene in Argyll and Bute early on Saturday afternoon.

Police Scotland said they were called to a report of "possible human remains" near Rubha Dubh at Firkin Point, south of Tarbet.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Extensive inquiries are ongoing."
