Police searching for two men after armed robbery in Glasgow
The incident happened near Shettleston on Sunday
Police in Glasgow are searching two men after an armed robbery at a shop on Budhill Avenue on Sunday.
They entered the shop at around 7pm on July 20 and threated staff with what police believe were firearms, before making off with a three-figure sum of cash.
None of the staff required hospital treatment.
Police say one of the men is white, and was wearing a long black Berghaus jacket with a logo on the rear of the hood, a black face covering and black trainers with a white sole.
The second man is also white, and was wearing a royal blue/black and white tracksuit top with a white Nike logo on the chest, dark tracksuit bottoms, light coloured trainers and a red and white beanie hat with writing on the front.
Police appeal
Detective Sergeant Alan Gray said: “This was a frightening incident for staff in the shop and it's vital we trace those responsible.
“I'm appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the men, or who recognises the description of them, to come forward.
“I would also appeal to anyone with dash cam or private CCTV which could assist to contact us.”
