Police investigate death after finding seriously injured man

Roads closed as investigations continue following a man’s death.

A large police presence remains in the area.

A police cordon is in place in Glasgow after a 38-year-old man died late on Christmas Day.

Scotland Police said emergency services were called at around 11:40pm on 25th December 2025 to reports of an injured man in the Napiershall Streer area.

The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Both Napiershall Street and North Woodside Road are currently closed for investigations.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Around 11.40pm on Thursday, 25 December, 2025, we received a report of an injured man in Napiershall Street, Glasgow. Emergency services attended and a 38-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

"Officers are following a positive line of enquiry and there will be a continued police presence in the area. Anyone with any concerns can approach these officers.

"Napiershall Street and North Woodside Road are closed to allow for investigations."
