Police appeal for help to find missing Kilmarnock woman

UPDATE 8AM: Police Scotland say Chantelle has been found safe.
There's a plea to people across Ayrshire to look out for a missing woman from Kilmarnock.
28 year old Chantelle Bennett was last seen in Kirkton Road later yesterday afternoon.
She is described as around being around 5ft 6, of slim build with blonde hair.
She was last known to be wearing a pink/peach coloured hooded top, light coloured jogging bottoms and flip flop slider style footwear.
Chanelle has links to both East and South Ayrshire.
Inspector Iona Lyall said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Chanelle’s welfare and ask that anyone who has seen her or has information on her whereabouts to please contact us.
“If Chanelle herself sees this appeal, I’d ask her to please let officers, family or friends know she is safe.”
