A man has been seriously injured and robbed in Clydebank.

Police are searching for three men, after the “terrifying” incident in the early hours of Monday.

The 45 year old man was approached at the junction of Kilbowie Road and East Thomson Street between 12am and 1.30am on 31 August, before being assaulted and having his phone, cash, house keys, and car keys stolen.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Police appeal

Detective Constable Jordan Moore said: “This was a terrifying incident for the man involved and our enquiries are ongoing to trace the men responsible.

“I would ask that anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the area around the time and saw something suspicious get in touch with officers.

“I’d also ask that those in the local area who have private CCTV review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
