Man seriously assaulted in Paisley

Police are appealing for information

A man has been taken to hospital after a serious assault in Paisley on Saturday afternoon.

The 51 year old was injured in the attack on Blackstoun Oval at around 2.30pm on Saturday 18 July.

Detective Constable Gillian Berry said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.

“Please check any private CCTV you have and let us know if something has been captured that could assist with our investigation.

“If you were driving in the area around the time of the incident please also check dash-cam footage and contact officers if there is anything that might help.”
