Man jailed for culpable homicide in Paisley last year

A 20-year-old man will be behind bars for 6 years and 9 months for killing a 21-year-old man in Paisley last year.

Jaxon Miller was convicted by a jury of the culpable homicide of Robert McNally on Saturday January 18, 2025.

Robert was found seriously injured after a disturbance in Maree Road and Lochbroom Drive.

Jaxon Miller was arrested and charged in connection with Robert’s death and sentenced when he appeared at the High Court in Glasgow.

Detective Inspector Euan McMillan, the senior investigating officer, said: “My thoughts have always been with those affected by this incident and the long-lasting impact it has had on the community.

“I want to thank the public who came forward to assist our inquiry and acknowledge the diligence of the officers who investigated Robert’s death.”
