A man’s been found dead and three others are injured after a major incident in the West End of Glasgow.

Police rushed to Berkeley Street near Charing Cross just before 7am after reports of a disturbance in a property there.

They sealed off the area and a forensic tent was erected outside the building.

The force is revealing that a man was pronounced dead at the scene and three other people were taken to hospital.

They insist there is no wider threat to the community but officers remain on the scene.

A Police spokesperson said: “Around 6.45am on Friday, 5 December, we were called to a report of a disturbance within a property on Berkeley Street in Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene. Three people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

“Officers remain at the scene and there is no threat to the wider public.”
