Man charged in connection with Castlemilk death

A 58-year-old male was found seriously injured on Arnprior Road on Tuesday afternoon

A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Castlemilk.

Around 3.05pm on Tuesday, 1 July, 2025, we received a report of a 58-year-old man found seriously injured at Arnprior Road.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died on Thursday, 3 July.

The 41-year-old man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, 4 July.
