Death of 27 year-old Motherwell man being treated as suspicious

The death of a 27-year-old man from Motherwell is being treated as suspicious by officers.
They were called out to an address on Shields Court around 4.30pm yesterday where he was found dead inside.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.30pm on Monday, 15 December 2025, police were called to a property on Shields Court in Motherwell where a 27-year-old man was found deceased within.
"Next of kin are aware and being supported by specially trained officers.
"Following initial enquiries, his death is being treated as suspicious. An investigation has been launched to establish the full circumstances."
