Two children seriously hurt after e-scooter crash in Paisley

Two young boys are in hospital with serious injuries after falling from an e-scooter in Paisley.

The children, aged 10 and 12, were taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow after being found hurt on High Street at around 9.15pm on Monday.

Officers from the Road Policing Unit in Glasgow are now investigating.

Sergeant Adnan Alam appealed to anyone who witnessed the boys on an e-scooter around this time or saw them crashing or falling from the e-scooter to contact police immediately.

Police have also asked anyone who captured the incident on dashcam or has CCTV footage to get in touch.

Anyone with information should contact police via 101 and quote incident number 3326 of 8 June, 2026.
