“I’ll believe it when I see it in my account!” he joked.

What could you do with £400,000?

A weekend at Cameron House

Fancy celebrating in serious style? A luxury loch-view suite, spa treatments, dinner and cocktails at Cameron House on Loch Lomond could easily set you back around £1,000 for a night away.

With £400,000 in the bank, Shay could enjoy 400 luxury stays there… and still wake up every morning overlooking Loch Lomond.

A trip on the Waverley Paddle Steamer

The legendary Waverley Paddle Steamer has a maximum passenger capacity of 860 people.

So if you check the ticket prices you could book the whole boat for you and all your mates for a cruise down the Clyde and still have enough left over for a few drinks and to book George Bowie for a GBX set!

A shopping spree at Braehead - fancy treating yourself?

With over 100 shops inside Braehead Shopping Centre, Shay could go on one seriously dangerous spending spree.

Even if he spent £1,000 every single weekend, it would still take him almost EIGHT years to get through the cash!

A concert at the OVO Hydro

Want to celebrate with a massive night out? Shay could grab premium tickets for gig after gig at the OVO Hydro.

At around £100 a ticket, £400,000 could get you into 4,000 concerts… that’s basically every tour coming to Glasgow for the next few decades sorted.

A luxury dinner at Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens

Fancy celebrating with a proper five-star meal? Dinner, cocktails and a luxury overnight stay at the famous One Devonshire Gardens could easily cost around £500 for two.

Luckily for Shay, with £400,000 he could enjoy nearly 800 luxury nights there before the cash ran out!

A VIP box at Hampden Park

Forget standard tickets – with £400,000 Shay could go full rockstar mode with hospitality at Hampden. We’re talking padded seats, private lounges, massive food spreads and drinks flowing before Scotland games and huge concerts.

At roughly £300 a head for premium hospitality, Shay could throw a VIP night out for more than 1,300 people… basically turning Hampden into one giant Make Me A Winner celebration!

A first-class football away day

Whether it’s Hampden, Celtic Park or Ibrox, £400,000 would cover plenty of football weekends. Trains, hotels, tickets, food, pints… Shay could follow his team around Europe and still have plenty left in the bank.
