Tide Lines: A look back at their huge headline show

In celebration of their 10-year anniversary, Scottish folk pop band Tide Lines played their biggest headline show to date at Glasgow's OVO Hydro in September.
Ahead of the huge show, the band, made up of Robert Robertson, Ross Wilson, Alasdair Turner and Fergus Munro, completely sold out their special 'Road to the Hydro' tour, returning to the venues and communities that shaped the band's journey over the past decade.
Speaking ahead of their gigs, Frontman Robert Robertson said: "The Hydro show is all about celebrating the last ten years with our biggest gig yet so it felt right to return to the places that have been part of that story from the very beginning. Lochaber was an amazing place to grow up as a young musician. The encouragement of the local community and our Highland musical culture were really formative influences on me.
"Gigs, concerts and traditional ceilidhs in local halls have always been a big part of the tradition back home so it's going to be magic to take a taste of our Hydro gig to these small halls."
Drummer Gus Munro added: “When I was a wee lad growing up in the Glasgow suburbs, an iconic venue like The Art School was a mythical place “up the town” where the big folk went and magical things could happen. I still feel that sense of excitement whenever I get the chance to perform in the city I grew up in. When Tide Lines self-promoted out first ever Glasgow show in the Art School ten years ago, I don’t think we ever imagined we would be putting on a Hydro show a decade later, so the Art School seems the perfect place to kick off our Road to the Hydro tour and take it back to where it all began.”
Keyboard player Ross Wilson said: "We recorded a lot of these songs in our studio in Bunessan, so taking them back to the place where they were born before heading to the Hydro will be really special. It's a big week at home with the annual football tournament and the local agricultural show, so the whole village seems to be buzzing about having a concert to round off the week. They'll definitely be up for a party on Saturday."
Guitarist Ali Turner said: "Playing an intimate show in the area where I grew up will be really special. Throughout my childhood, a great deal of musical tuition was based in and around Inverness, so it will feel like a full circle moment playing there again on the road to the biggest gig we've ever done."
The band also shared a heartfelt statement with their fans, saying: 'Well here we go! The biggest show of the 10 year tour - and the biggest show of our career.
'We’ve tried to take everything that makes a Tide Lines show and scale it up for an arena!
'We honestly can’t get over all the messages of support and seeing how far some of you are travelling to spend the evening with us. The fact that so many of you are making the journey to Glasgow for this one means a huge amount.
'We’re going to give it absolutely everything and make this a night to remember!

They played dates across August and September, ending at OVO Hydro, Glasgow on 19th September.

After dropping their live album '10' in June, celebrations for Tide Lines' 10-year anniversary reached a huge climax on 19th September, when they performed their biggest show yet at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.
Tide Lines were joined by special guests Calum Bowie and Siobhan Miller.

The Pussycat Dolls have reunited and will be playing a massive 53 dates around the world for their 'PCD Forever Tour', celebrating 20 years since 'Don't Cha' and the release of their debut album 'PCD'. The performances, which will unite four well-known performers, Samantha Mumba, Duncan James (Blue), Antony Costa (Blue) and Una Healy (The Saturdays), will include several shows starting in Croydon, in February 2027, and continuing until 11th April in Southampton.
James Blunt
Following the release of his sun-soaked single 'Tastes Like Summer', James Blunt announced a tour across the UK next year, and tickets are now on sale. The singer will be starting in Leeds on Friday 26th March, with dates across England, Scotland and Wales, ending the following month, on Thursday 8th April, in Brighton.
